January 22, 2010. I have recently created a series of teaching materials on the economics of entertainment (including spectator sports).
I hope that at some stage these will turn into a book. The working title is The Economics of Entertainment: Concepts and Cases.
In order to see how the following materials might fit together, you may want to consult the
outline
for my course, The Economics of Entertainment.
Here are a series of "mini-cases" or "caselets" that I have worked on with a series of colleagues at NYU Stern
(and before that at the London Business School).
You are welcome to use these for educational purposes provided that you distribute them as they are, that is,
with the appropriate headers and credits at the end.
At this point, I don't have any teaching guide for these notes. I hope to have some in the near future.
If you have any notes related to these cases, I would love to see them.
Also, if you have any similar materials you would like to share with others, I will be happy to post them here. (See links below.)
Finally, if you have any comments, suggestions, please send them to lcabral@stern.nyu.edu.
